Putting the adult bikes on the roof will make a big difference, especially if they are steel framed ones. If you can mount them forward then the effect on the rear axle will be minimal.
The weight of the bikes will be hanging a fair way behind the rear axle so will have quite a major effect on the rear suspension.
On a fairly new car, if you are needing to use spring assistors then you need to look at the loading. How low does the laden car sit before you add the caravan?
As a rought guide, if you cannot lift the front of van up a little when it is sitting on the jockey wheel without too much stress then it could be too heavy. Granted this is only a finger in the air guide, but better than no measurement at all.
