Hi all this is our 2nd trip in our caravan, we are going frpm Chesterfield to Hunstanton and we were wondering if anyone could recommend a stop somewhere along the A17 from Newark that we could stop to stretch our legs and exercise our dogs, dont neccesarilly need a cafe etc.

There are a couple of transport cafe along the A17 with plenty of room to stretch your legs Or alternatively there are wide lay-bys all the way through to Kings Lynn
A couple of Cafe's that I can remember are The Oaks (nr RAF Cranwell)The Farm (You could maybe stock up on fresh veg/salad here as they have a farm shop)

Hi, we keep our van at Barlborough and stop at a lay by just after Heckington when we visit Norfolk.It is on the other side of the road but has toilets a take away and a small wooded area to walk the dog.

See if you can spot the windmill,its the only eight sailed one left in the country.
