Hi all.I have just purchased an Bulldog 220s stabiliser and wish to attach it to a Landrover Discovery. The Discovery already has drop plate fitted for a previous stabiliser which i plan on replacing for the one that came with the new stabiliser.I will be towing a Lunar Delta 500/4 Twin 1993/94 which already has a new bracket on the a frame. The new drop plate will also lower the a frame when towing by approx 1 1/2 inches which will make the caravan sit more horizontal on the tow hitch than the slightly upwards angle it currently is.My question is will the stabiliser need any adjustment or should it be a straight forward fit and will the caravan tow better being more horizontal or being a twin axle it won't make much difference ?.Any advice will be greatly appreciated as i wish to tow as safely as possible.

Hi snailster, the stablilizer should not need adjustment, but stabilizer bracket on van may, towing the van level is best, if towing twin axle when slightly up, then rear wheel will have slightly more of van load, level will have load evenly distributed. hope this helps you.

If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
