I have a MK3 Astra 1600  i wonder if anyone can tell me the towing capacity of this vehicle

hi paulandann.if you know what your cars kerb weight is then usually your max towing limit is 85%of that but to be doubley sure you could go onto the caravan club website and they have a section on tow weights. hope this helps.

3 door, 4 door, 5 door, Estate or cabriolet?

Phase 1 model or phase 2 model?

To get the correct weight you need to say what model type as above the year and exact model spec, L GL LX etc.

They all make a difference.

If the car is fairly new then all the relevant weights will be on the VIN plate.

Mk 3 Astra kerbweight = 1150kg +/- 50kg depending on model. 
Manufacturers tow limit = 1200kg but recommended limit =1000kg
Noseweight = 75kg on all models.
