Going to St Ives on Thursday afternoon, I am a seasoned traveller on this route so know the pitfalls of congestion, the question is , are there any roadworks that may cause problems on the way.

In addition to the link from Weavers, this is a handy one to look at. you can tick the boxes to find the information you need. We used it last summer to find out when the M5 started to clear before leaving Cornwall to head home. We phoned home & got someone to keep an eye on the cameras, once the holdup started to ease we left the site & had a steady run home.http://www.trafficengland.com/motorwayflow.aspx

I regularly deliver to roadworks & where possible, they're normaly taken off in time for the busy holiday spell.

Hi, come back from newquay on friday  afternoon, no real problems, a couple of bottle neck, but nothing more than 10/15 hold up, I felt the roads where good,

really pleased, took us 6hrs with 2 stops, newquay to stoke on trent junction 15 m6
