hi jim. i keep trying to get a pic of the mitzy on site but cant do it. i have had the outfit 10yrs .i converted the trailer to living van. then 3 years ago converted our local gravediggers tipper to artic unit. shortening the chassis etc. it can be driven on a car licence (pre 97).or if i move the axles forward on the trailer and drop the gvw of the unit .can be driven on a b+e and retain the old train of 9.6ton. at the moment i voluntary drop it to 8.25 to allow c1+e use. i build alsorts of weird trucks and am always in touch with vosa and dvla. in the past i have mentioned asbout it weghing 2.8ton and pulling 9.6ton .it makes a laugh of ther cc recomendations. the truck is on hydrolic brakes and i had to fit a compressor for the air brakes on trailer. maybe one day we will meet and youi can browse the conversion.the unit is smaller than alot of pickups and carries 7 people and is mot exempt.

have now managed to get a pic on my gallery of the mitzy.

Alan, that is just fascinating.  I love stuff like this.  If I'm ever in Cornwall, I'll get in touch, and maybe we can meet up.  On the other hand, if you're ever in Lancashire, let me know.  (Can't quite see why you would come here from Cornwall for your holidays....)

Great lifestyle. I think Morocco would be too hot for me, but it's great to see something out of the ordinary like this.

hi, no in the winter its just like a warm summers day.good enough for shorts but nice and dry. not sticky like it is here. . its a like or hate place . i like it but would never want to be living there. just dec ,jan ,feb ,march .nice.then trundle back to this lovelly country. i like it here in the summer so green and fresh. also think you need to get a balance of away and here to think straight. uk is a grand place if only the british knew it and stopped moaning. ha ha .cheers alan.
