can anyone help when hitching my caravan to my freelander the alko tow hitches is hardwork to get on because of the spare wheel on the back of the freelander any tip would be great thanks rob
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
yes we have the shortened handle too, another cost we hadnt anticipated but we didnt fancy taking the back wheel off every time Think we bought it online, saved us a few pennies!
Hi, after buying my Freelander last year I was at a dealers near Stoke asking if they had the Alko 4x4 handle. He told me the cheapest option is to simply carry a hex key with you and just remove the existing handle while you hitch up/unhitch, then replace the handle to lock down & travel or while on site. I have done this ever since!
------------- no matter where you go.........there you are
Had 3 Freelanders and never had to take handle off, just make sure the lever is fully up before hitching or unhitching.

------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level then beat you on experience.
