Hi everyone.... we have just got back from hols....carvanning at Skeg....... when winding the jockey wheel up not sure if i was turning it the right way..(that isnt unusual) well it wasnt moving and i the wheel section came out of the holding section......errrmm does this mean that it is broken if so how is a new one fitted? cant find any website to help.....or is there something im missing is my one ok to use?????  Does anyone know approx cost for supply and fit of new jockey wheel? The claps still work but would like all new if im honest.

I assume you've tried sticking the shaft back into place and winding the right way.

If it is totally kaput then any trailer place sells replacement jockey wheels - even Halfords do them these days. I'd get a decent one as it will be cheaper in the long run.

Probably just came apart as the thread got to the end. Stick the two halfs together and wind and thay hsould end up as one piece again. Hopefully

Yes i did but since reading your advice i went back out now knowing that i was doing the right thing........i noticed that in the big tube where u wind there is a screww ting that fints into a hole in the little tube and worked out......they fit together if you wind the right way.............and i have fixed it  LOVE YA TO BITS.

We came back a day early as we had a shocking windy rainy stormy night that threw all awning poles  from van.....so we packed up at 6am kids unhappy...think awning a little too short about 5-6" from ground and we a little inexperienced at the moment...its a bradcott and not supposed to put guy ropes on....and had no storm kit.........anyway will start new thread for that one.......
