Hi hope you have some luck with hyundai UK . We,ve just returned from 3 weeks in france _ with out our santa fe, trailer tent bikes ect. Auto gear box went on week 2. UK could not get act together to ship parts to france and authorise repair. £100,s pound in taxi to garage, bad uk customer service. Swift cove/axa have been saving grace to get loan car to get us home. Santa fe & gear arriving home in few weeks!!!!.

Hyundai waranty is not all it says - esp if you have a problem abroad!!

 You live and learn!!!  We still have 4 weeks of possible camping but no tent  or tow car!!!

Just wish that Hyundai could have answered my questions but they are still as confused.  I had hoped that they would know what products they sell and how they should work.  On top of that, it would appear that those of us with a Santa Fe have differing set ups.  Surely if something is installed by Huyndai we should all be the same !!!!!

Anyway, I am waiting again for a reply from them (Hyundai) and will post what reply I get.

Tiberious - As I understand it, you need either and audible or visual indication to show that the indicators on your caravan are working correctly.  If you do not have a buzzer, a light on the dashboard should flash along with the normal indicator light.  Is that what you have ?. And finally, what dealer have you found that can fit a dedicated wiring loom.  Perhaps they can answer our questions before I go back to Hyundai........
