Niceys, my son's Peuget 106 1.4 non turbo Diesel is supposed to be able to tow our Freedom Microlite, but when I towed the caravan home with it (my Fiesta still needed a towbar) it was dreadful. Even on a pretty flat route from Stafford to Stoke-on-Trent , we struggled on hills. In fairness , the Peugeot is old and tired but well maintained. I was hoping to allow my son to borrow the caravan but the combo is so bad, I think it dangerous and he will not be towing it at all.Acceleration was appalling. The Fiesta, 1.6 TD is just the opposite, very capable with a safe margin of torque and power. Hope this helps.
