i need to fit a Towbar to a 55 Discovery 3.

Whats best..?
The swan neck or the Multi Height Towbar..?

Both will work fine. I have a the swan neck QR version. Plenty on Ebay for around £150.00

I also have the detachable one, simply because it is removable.
Which is best depends on what you want to tow and what you want to do with the car when its not towing.
We only tow our caravan and an Ifor Williams trailer both use the standard height ball so I don't need anything else and if I go off road I am not ploughing at the same time.

The detachable looks neat. The non detachable flange towbar looks horrible & goes rusty.

Also the Detachable is great when you go off road!
