No experience of towing with one, but drove one as a company car for a couple of years. I didnt have a choice of the car I had and went from thinking it was a hair dressers car, to having quite a lot of respect for it. If your towing at 85% I dont personally think you will have any problem at all.
During the snowy weather two winters ago mine was taking steep hills in its stride, and leaving some of the bigger 4wd's standing at the roadside. Probably something to do with the weight to road contact, but I'd take one as a tow vehicle anytime.
Brilliant cars considering hair dressers use them.
