Hi im looking for some advice i need a towbar for my Qashqai it's just for a trailer not a caravan or owt i have been quoted £210 + vat is that a reasonable price or can i get it cheaper shopping around?

Sounds about right.I paid £240 for a Laguna i had 2 years ago although that was twin electrics.
It can depend on the work involved ie Bumper removal etc

I agree.  It sounds about right to me. When you get a towbar fitted, it will not matter what you intend to tow.  The towbar is compatible with the spec. of the car.

Where did you get that quote from?  We have a Quashqai +2 and  I have been quoted £320 for standard and £415 if it has to be a detachable taw bar, because of the rear sensors.

You get what you pay for with towbars, a nice tidy swan neck by a well known maker might be dearer than a bit of poorly finished angle iron that goes rusty in 6 mnths. Also it depends on electrics. If you want to risk bypass relay on a new car its your choice.

Without knowing the parts that are going to be fitted you can't really say whether the price is fair or not.

Towequipe fitted a bosal swan neck with single electrics to my qashqai for £190. great service, and a great cup of coffee while you wait for it to be fitted, which only took 1.5 hrs.
