What would be the cheaper option a new one or get that one fixed up at a back street garage

Tyres are only around £40 each for that if you know where to look

What else did it fail on

£40 for a Terrano tyre!! Think you need to double that just for a cheap one.

I suppose it depends if you want a brand new one or will settle for a part used one.

I replaced the two front ones on my Suzuki Grand Vitara a couple of weeks ago for around £60 all in including delivery then £10 for someone to fit them to the wheels, they had 5mm of tread left on compared to the 7mm when new, also got a new exhaust back box for it for £55 and a set of new front brake discs for £50.

lol, yeah   We paid more than £40 for our folding camper's tyres!  I think the Terrano was nearer £100 a tyre!

Having a remould fall apart at 65mph on the front of a Transit a few years ago has put me off them for ever.I would never buy a remould again.

Would not be too bad if just using them off road but the mileage we do towing no thanks.Just had 4 General Grabbers fitted and seem fine,will have to see how the fair in the snow

Usually buy part worn tyres and wheels for my LDV Convoy, the last one was nearly new for £35

Got a decent price for it, and the jeep is auto so less hastle towing (IMHO).

Both of my Terranos had twin electrics, just as an aside we now have the Jeep G C  auto which is probably a better tow car in just about every way , but its not as much fun to drive as the Terrano.

Try a real 4x4 before you buy.

Try a Land Rover just avoid the P38 Rnge rover.
