Hi Ultimates my towbar was factory fit and fitted within my allowance it was a case of 140bhp and towbar or 160bhp and pay for one to be fitted myself,which was around £400 for a detachable  i already new the 140 bhp pulled like a train so power was not an issue .
The S Max has a better risidual value than the Mondeo so you never know you may well get one our company just went green with the emissions otherwise i would of got another. If not the Mondeo is a worthy second place.
