How much does it cost to have a decent tow bar fitted to pull a trailor.

It also depends if you have a standard towbar fitted or a detachable as the detachables are more expensive. There again it depends on the brand you purchase as some detachables have different types of fitting attachment. Regarding the cost of a standard towbar, mine cost £250 for supply & fitting the towbar inclusive of twin electrics on a Ford Focus estate. Of course again it depends on the brand that you purchase as mine was from a local reputable manufacturer. If I had bought a Witter or any other well known brand the cost would be much greater.

i got quoted £740 for a new Skoda Yeti ??  just been quoted £440 for a Quashqai +2,

dependsds what car and what fittings you ask for.
