The side of the drivers seat on my 6 year old Nissan Pathfinder has split! Its leather and I'd appreciate any advice regarding getting this fixed without reference to the dreaded main dealer!

Particularly interested in understanding if any of you have had repairs done and any recommended repairers?

I know that chips away do repairs to interiors of cars. I've not used them for this but thought it sounded quite a good service. If you look on their website it has some before/after photos.

I would scour ebay and the breakers for a new seat. Possibly a lot cheaper than gettinf it repaired.

Any repairer will charge £50ph or more. I'd just use a needle & thread.
