I did ask the question, Is the vehicle modified. I replied im going to have a towbar fitted. They said thats not a problem i didnt need to tell them when/if i fitted it.
Worth asking though just to be on the safe side, You dont want to be the 1st to find you are not covered as they specifically exclude towing.
Need to make it clear that your not asking if the caravan etc is covered, Read reports on people getting wrong info on that.
Your not covered for towing = the caravan/trailer isnt covered on your policy. And repairs must be out of your own pocket or a separate insurance for that or claim from a 3rd party if there was one and their fault.
