Hi Folks,

We have just bought our very first van (Bailey Ranger GT60 540/6) which is a couple of years old.  Luckily it's on a site until early November, so we can potter about with it until then, but after that we need to take it for a service and tow it to a storage site for the winter or until we need it next.  We have no experience of towing and can see no courses on offer from the usual Caravan Club and Camping and Caravanning Club, especially in Northern England or Southern Scotland!  Does anyone know if anyone else offers these sorts of courses in the next few weeks please?

I've looked at towing courses as looking to get a caravan.  The clubs look like their 2011 courses have finished and they have not announced their 2012 programme yet.

I did though google towing courses where I live and came up with a number of suitable options at a reasonable cost.

Sorry...thought about my club comment...might not have finished but there wasn't anything suitable for me!  Also forgot to mention other courses were from driver training companies and one from a learner driving school.  Some did require you to use your own caravan though.
