Hi,

We are looking at possibly buying a Pathfinder to replace our Kia Sorrento. Has anyone got or towed with a Pathfinder. We only use ours for towing so it is absolutely essential that we get it right. Our caravan is 1700kg.

Any help or info would be great.

Mechanic told us they were a very good car but if it wrong it would always be a expensive repair , in the end we part ex for a honda crv which i would say it is the best car i have owned 42mpg on a run . towing to cornwall this year 32mpg hope this helps . Hi Chris and Jo, I tow an Elddis SuperCyclone, 1910 kg, with a Pathy, and it's a brilliant tow car. I get around 25 mpg towing, it's got all the kit you need, loads of room, and is reliable and comfortable.

I could definitely recommend it as a tow car.

I love my Pathfinder, yes they are a bit juicey but the performance on towing far outweighs this. I have the aventura with all the spec when I bought it it was far cheaper than the disco of the same year also never had any problems and still drive it with a big smile I may also add that the seven seats is a bonus too
