 Yes, fully open now. Loads better than going through Carlisle.. Lots of roundabouts on it though so keep an eye on what lane you need to be in, especially J44 and the first one after J44.

 Yes thats right. Take last exit before you head back north up M6. Best to watch the road numbers painted on the road. Theres 3 lanes right round that roundabout now and even locals get in the wrong lanes. I've had 2 near misses myself due to people changing lanes at last minute when they realise thet're going where they don't want to be..
