yes Sammy, they took the cover off the colling fans and gave it to me, we have towed a lot with it and all OK, just come back from Cornwall had 1 month away so just got back yesterday, we had to tell the tow bar fitter about it, if you dint mention it to them they wouldn't have done it, so you could go back and ask them to remove the cover . read back where it was explained to me and write it down, it didnt cost any more. i got the string net cover, they said it was was with the car, biut i said noway was it, anyway he was ok about getting one for me, so all sorted here, we are do pleased with how it tows and now got used to it being dark when trying to revere, as the reversing alarm helps lol hope u are ok x

Thanks for that Pamela..also been searching about adding caravan to motability breakdown cover..someone said it was £40...but can't find it...will go tomain dealer tomorrow as hes a friend and ask him.....

Glad your happy with insignia..we are just after reading about over heating etc abit wary....can't wait for our hols away 2 weeks in july, fingers crossed it'll stop raining...

when we took the caravan to france, it cost us about £70 for caravan breakdown cover, didnt think we needed it in this country !!! you can have a word with motorbility about the cover, i am sure i asked a few years ago, and they didnt do it then, but i might have changed now , let me know hwo you get on ok x

motabilty rac cover and you'll see what to do....you have to ring a different number..were covered for uk £ 32 a year...xx

hi i am a bit confused about all theses covers !  My caravan insurance is covered for accidents abroad, and so is the motorbility car, so do i need a breakdown cover for caravan car abroad?? we have the RAC with motorbility, so we need to add caravan to RAC for breakdown ???isant the caravan included if car breakdowns, hope u all understand what i am on about lol
