CAN ANY ONE HELP

I HAVE NO SIDE LIGHTS WORKING ON MY CARAVAN WHEN I USE THE LEFT INDICATOR THE LEFT SIDE LIGHT FLASHES WITH THE INDICATOR BUT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH THE RIGHT INDICATOR I HAVE CHECKED THE WIRE CONECTIONS TO THE CAR AND CHANGED THE SEVIEN PIN PLUGS ON CAR AND CARAVAN TOW CAR 2000 VW PASSAT

Why not take it to a dealership to correct the problem. You cannot legally drive on the road with defective lights?

Unless you are already at a dealership, as you can't drive on the road, are you suggesting the whole outfit is low loaded, usually when you are recovered, the caravan is towed wheels on floor so the lights would still be needed technically.

If it was me, I would try a light board connected to the car so you can assertain if the fault is the car or the caravan.

Not such a silly idea......If you are stopped and you can evidence to the officer that you know of the problem and that you are taking the van to be repaired that should be the end of it. At worst the officer will issue you with a Vehicle Defect Rectification Notice that requires you to get it fixed and evidence to the Police that it has been done.

In the alternative call out an engineer.
