I am getting a new towcar soon (Seat Altea XL TDI DSG 2012 and i wondering what is the best way, to have someone to my house or take it in and wait what information can you give me on this matter.
A lot depends on the local services that are available. I was able to take my car into a local fitter and they did it there and then, but recently had a mobile fitter fit a motor mover to my caravan at home as this was the better option.
I'd shop around and also look at feedback that others have had. Make sure the mobile fitter is from a proer company as the last thing you want is to not being able to get problems sorted if any occur later on.
I wish i could do it myself but me being disabled and wheelchair user also sticks and my lower limbs not good ,( So i have no choice to have it done who knows what he doing)
As a suggestion, use a fitting organisation that is a member of the National Towing and Trailer Association.

I had a problem with a very poor towbar fitting job, and it was resolved satisfactorily as result of both the original fitting organisation and the subsequent repair organisation both being members of the NTTA.
