I put 2 new tyres on the front as suggested by the KIA mechanic & surprise surprise it seems to have worked.

Hand book recommends rotating all 4 tyres to keep them same size.If only replacing 2 these should be fitted to the rear.If rear are worn more they rotate faster causing the TOD system to transmit power to the front.This is not normally operating on made up roads unless rear slippage to snow,mud, ice ect. Look on www.bit4net.com/files/sorento/BL_4WD.pdf and this explains how system works. Hope this is of use.

hi there I have an 03 sorento got same problems been to 2 garages both did dianostic told me all ok but its not!still jumps through the gears etc pls could you tell me wot was wrong with yours before I take it to another garage and ask then no more diagnostic??it has a full service history etc love the car for my caravan hopefully they can fix it many thanks William my no is 07950819393 if u want to text or ring etc thanks again.
