Hi all,
I've just purchased my first caravan and would like some advice pls
We bought a used caravan with the usual security : a hitch look an alarm , secure lock door and a wheel lock, we were thinking of leaving it where the previous owner had it stored but I'm worried that I could hand over the money and the caravan could disappear as the previous owner could have a spear key,and the code to the alarm, the couple I bought it off are wonderful, it me just getting worried !
Can the locks be changed on these pieces of equipment ?
Or would moving it be the best ?
are there any goos secure places around Huntingdon ?
remind me to never sell you a caravan ,thats a terrible way to think about the previous owner .if anyones gonna steal it your not gonna be able to stop them whatever you do ,so use what you got and enjoy it
If you have one wheel clamp or alko secure lock you can simply purchase a second clamp for the other side. Maybe a couple of corner steady locks as well although they are not they will slow down someone not prepared for them and they are not easy to spot if driving or wandering past the front of the 'van.
