Can anyone give us some advice please, we have bought the van, a europa sterling 495, 4 berth, but as of yet bought nothing to tow with? weight is 1.500 thanks

Mondeo 2.0tdci will do it but you are at 95% match. OK for the experienced only. You are probably better looking at a 4x4

i tow a 1500 kg coachman with my mondeo, car weighs in at 1700 kg (top spec) pulls the van no probs just come back from cornwall yesterday 350 miles, got 35 mpg going 32 mpg on the return  a brilliant all rounder

We really need to know your budget and whether you passed your test before 1997 or not.

If not, then you will be limited to 3,500kgs train weight and this may have an impact on your choice of tow vehicle.
