Hi Motty, we have been fortunate to have owned and loved a variety of motorhomes and caravans. The Freedom caravans are very small. This makes them easier to manhandle and tow. Being very light and with a small frontal area makes them economical to tow . Being small, you have to have patience with each othe whilst in the caravan. You cannot all (some are 3 and 4 berth !) run around inside these vans For example, either my wife or more often, myself, will cook meals whilst the other lounges/reads etc. They are however very well thought out and practical to use. The beds are flatly profiled and comfortable. ventilation is excellent , especially on the smallest Microlite models which have a pop up roof. Being fibreglass they DO NOT SUFFER FROM DAMP. An important point, as many caravans and coachbuilts can be quickly damaged by moisture in the timber frame. There is a big range of facilities available. From 2 berth to 4 berth. Some have toilet compartment, wash basin and hot running water. You can have gas heating, fridge and wardrobe. Kitchen is small , lacks a bit of worktop (just get organised !) I fitted a shower room in ours which functions well on sites with no toilets or showerblock. It's not helpful if you are very tall or larger framed. (We are not exactly petite and we cope OK!) Overall if you seek an economical, fun, practical camping experience and can cope with a smaller space you could almost certainly enjoy a Freedom caravan. The Sunstream versions are usefully a little larger than the Microlites. We went for maximum economy when towing and just love our LE version. If you search for Freedom Microlite with custom shower room on you tube, you can see for your self. An awning can make for a much larger protected area. We have adapted though, and sometimes do not even put ours up. ( A posh, French one imported from Holland at great expense) Hope this helps! Buy what suits you
