Hi recently purchased a abbey Lincoln ht caravan . Which has to electic points to attach to towbar one 5 pin and 1 7 pin. My problem is that all the twin electrics I have found are with two 7 pin... Please help.

Can you post a picture? The plug is either broken or non standard, it is easily replacable with a 7 pin though. If the 7 pin plug is the black one, this works road lights so you can still tow the caravan

It sounds like plug is broken, get a new one, you can wire it on yourself if you can use tools, google '12s plug wiring' for wiring diagram.
