Has anyone any experience towing with the 2.7 v6 petrol auto ?

Just set your satnav to route from petrol station to petrol station.

Approx 20mpg when towing, 28 solo.

Only a 65 litres tank though. Less than 300 miles worth when towing.

Besides that it will tow the ranger with ease.

Yeah big thirsty petrol cars are cheap, But from 2006 i think the road tax jumps up quite steeply on them.

We tow our Bailey ranger 540/6 with a Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi or Superb 1.9 tdi

The superb returns 35 towing and 50 plus solo Octavia returns 34 towing and 50 plus solo

yes we have a santa f'e with the same engine.had it from new and its a fantastic tow car BUT petrol cost can be high.dont do it now but when checking before on long runs it only gave 17 mpg towing.the 5 year warranty is as good as it gets if services are done each year. our bailey 500/5 is 1272 MTPLM.
