The price I quoted of around £700 for the Honda removable towbar was fitted by the Honda dealer and is supplied by Honda not an independent fitter ( same price from 3 main dealers), I had a quote of £535 for a removable Witter+ bypass relay from an independent fitter but as the car is still under warranty any issue regarding electrics/electronics would not be covered by Honda
Just to add to my previous comment ,if you are unfortunate enough to have a puncture whilst towing the spare(spacesaver) is not suitable so I would suggest you get a full size spare from a breakers yard, it will fit in the wheel well but the hard cover will not clip back in fully as the depth of a full size spare is greater than the space saver. I managed to get a 18"alloy + tyre for £205,(£460 + tyre from Honda) 17" are more common and a bit cheaper, I don't think steel wheels are available fro a CR V
