DON`T read this is you`re of an unstable disposition! But when you use a stabiliser, (or even when you don`t, but to a lesser degree) there will be a greatly increased noseweight given certain road conditions which everybody encounters from time to time albeit spasmodically. Like going over a speed bump faster than you should `ve. You`ll appreciate no doubt that, for this friction device to work, the flexibility between car and caravan is reduced more than somewhat. The momentum of the caravan and the resistance of the stabiliser will therefore determine the increased load on the towball. Something for you technocrats to think of . . . . . These are my simple thoughts; feel free to disagree!!
