might sound a silly question,but what do you insure your day van as?a van or something else?been on the meerkat site,and when i put in alloy wheels and a towbar,the price goes up £50,then when i put in side bars it increases another £300,then when i put in side windows,only 1 firm replies,and they want £1500,its only a van for goodness sake,not a motorhome.
so,how do you keep your insurance costs down?thanks,Adrian

Basically, its a Picnic van, often with cooking equipment installed, sometimes with a toilet compartment, but no beds as such, only seats in the back, and are used for mainly leisure, although some of the big building firms, and people like the Railway compaines and BT, do have them amoungst their fleets as mobile canteens and rest rooms for their workers use.
