Actually, one of the reasons for changing is that it is more economical than my Tucson!! The 2.0 ltr has a 4 speed box and with less power drinks diesel, whereas the 2.2 with a five speed box keeps the revs down below 2000 and it does 4-5 better mpg. Still costs about a £100 to fill the tank though!

Went to the Kia dealer to see about the facelift model(Dec release). We test drove a KX2 which is 3 months old and have bought it!

Big saving on new model.6 years and 9 month warranty left. They go well (194 bhp!)

Got a good deal on our Titan, so will know next week when we can have it-needs towbar fit.

We tried a Volvo xc60 last weekend which was nice but salesperson did not want to haggle so we said no.17 Their loss.

That's our xmas present!17

i had a Q5 2011 model, lovely car but the tow bar loading weight was only 80kg, no good for my twin axle caravan, i didnt do my homework & cost me dearly, so it had to go, Range rover sport now has no problem in any department.

I agree with the overall feelings of everyone else posting here. The Kia/Hyundai value-for-money has taken a bit dent from ever increasing prices. However, spec a discovery 4, bmw x5, volvo xc90, merc 4x4 (forget its name) etc to the same level as the Korean cars and the price rockets at an alarming rate! Then there is the higher running costs due to bigger engines etc. All these cars are available in 'poverty' spec at tempting prices, but the one you want to own with all the toys costs loads more. You can also use the argument that the santa fe, for example, starts from £25495 so can be had for much less than the top spec model. I bought a 2009 kia sorento xs diesel manual brand new for £17.5k and i am gutted that these amazing prices are now history. Maybe the likes of mitsabushi look a good buy now compared to the kia brand and its new inflated prices. But at the price i paid for my 'low image' car i am very very happy with it, but i will, like others on this forum, think long and hard before buying another one.

Why am i doing this instead of camping??!!
