Does anyone tow with a Nissan Juke? It has a braked towing limit of 1250kg, which is 50kg more than my Qashqai. How is it on the open road?

4WD version should be a good towcar-I think they make one. Strange looking cars though!

Watched a tv programme the other night and juke boxes were mentioned   Turns out a JUKE was another name for a brothel.  Think about that as you tow the lovely caravan around the coutry!!

Im not bothered about someone thinking its ugly or has a name which means brothel. Im asking if anyone tows with one. If you cant say anything constructive, dont say anything at all.

1150kg max tow for the 4WD auto ?

1200kg for the manual ?

Old model

1.6 petrol. 1250kg 115bhp and only 117ft/lb torque.

1.5 diesel. 1250 108bhp and 177ft/lb torque.

DiG-T 187bhp and 177ft/lb torque But lower towing limit?

4WD CVT towing limit even lower.


So depends what you plan on towing and its gross laden weight and how much power/torque your happy with.

Big jump in power but no extra torque? Is too much torque an issue for reliability?
