I would say if a basic rate tax payer that will be around £80 a month in tax or £160 if higher rate (it will be roughly a £5k - £6k benefit value)

You may have used this already but plug in details of your car

I'd be interested to see the weight ratio of the outfit. I very briefly looked at a Mondeo Estate Titanium X last year and thought it might be a bit near the knuckle for our Pegasus, though I'm sure there's power aplenty.

At 1490kg and 4x4's are not an option, you are very limited if you stick to the 85% rule.

You need a car with a kerb weight around the 1750kg mark which you will find with new cars is very rare.

I drive the 140 TIT X hatchback and tow a 1500kg coachman with it, the car comes in on a weight bridge at 1705kg the estate is 20 kg heavier, tows the coachman a dream

Thanks x I am content now with the mondeo ordered and thankyou all so much for taking the time to respond and as said previously every post was really valuable to me. I am now just worrying if I have picked the right colour lol lol
