Hello

 

Can any one help my friend. He drives a mondeo 1.8 and wants to know the kerb wright.  Basically he is looking for a caravan but not sure what weight he can pull.

 

Any help would be greatly received

Hi Diane,

My N reg 1.8 weighs 1291kgs

My caravan weighs 1136kgs max which is about 88% and it tows fine

i rang ford with the chassis nuber and they gave me the exact weight

ours is a 99 kerbweight 1310

Nutty cousin you could tell him to try the local public weigh bridge as the weight could vary from the listed weight with the addition of tow bars etc..
