Hi everyone!
We made the mistake of trying to be safer drivers in having a better tow vehicle which takes us over the evil 3.5t MAM......no issue, we can simply do the towing courses and apply for a test! Oh how wrong was I >:(
Searching for courses in the Basingstoke area brings up a small number of links to instructors, most are defunct websites that no longer work or appear to have come from the 80s and look a bit dodgy, and the ones I was able to get in contact with haven't bothered to get back in touch :(
You would think that wasting/spending £600 on government forced legal requirements designed to create jobs would have companies throwing themselves at you, it appears to not be the case!
So I ask the people of this forum, do you know of any towing instruction companies in the Hants area who are interested in finding customers? And would any DSA facility be suitable or are there specialist centres for the B&E licence?
I don't mind doing the test, I just wish there was a simple bloody way of doing it!!!!
P.s Hi! :D
