The 13 pin arrangement / additional grey 12S socket gives you the facility to run your 'vans fridge in transit, which I have never found necessary. Also to charge your 'van battery whilst in transit. As you only use EHU this is not necessary either.

But -- If you are going to hot climes and want to travel with a freezer load of good old English sausages for the barbecue then you will need your fridge on.
Or if you like adventure
what about when you stick your outfit in reverse and the poor soul behind is not dazzelled by your reversing lights and you back into them
Any new caravan with ATC (or older one if retrofitted) or any other stability control needs the extra socket for power.
If you use a motor mover then sometimes a little boost for the battery can help.
