I am going to do the strip out option I think, as for the engine chip, with 140k miles on clock would it not do more harm than good?

If the engine is in good condition and has been regularly serviced it should pose no problem, you have to remember diesel engines live on revs.

If you know someone who has a diagnostic box ask them to plug it in just to check if there is any posable faults, most gararges have one though some will charge.

Then go to the superchip web site and input your vehicle details then you can see what to expect onece its done, you dont have to use them, as any tuner will be able to do it, as its only a guid

I think this is the one you have read the roat test

Hi there

Have you thought about the Fiat Stilo Diesel?

I've had mine over 6 years and it's been a great car and brill towcar

The 120bhp is torquey, quick and good on fuel and not bad to tax

They are also very very cheap now too

Reliability has been great for mine too

Regards
