hi folks, can anyone tell me of a website that i can use to match car & caravan towing weights. i tow with a mondeo 2ltr auto estate 2009. have seen a sterling cruach 4 berth i like the look of. but i don't know the weight it's 2010 model.

Not always, mine does not show any weights on the V5, they are on a plate in the engine bay on mine though.

A lot of people use the whattowcar website, but to be honest I've found it to be not that reliable. Our car is not listed only petrol variant nor caravan.

Whattowcar use data from European spec cars which can vary greatly from UK models , so I wouldn't rely on its accuracy

The higher the spec the heavier the car, my advise would be to put it on a weigh bridge

I may be picking this up wrong, but from the OP's post, I would guess the difficulty for him seeing if he has a suitable match is not so much the towcars weight but getting the info for the weight of the caravan he is interested in. (Not listed on Whattowcar)

Perhaps consider consulting your Drivers Handbook and / or local Ford dealer.
