Just bought Santa Fe premium se auto 2013 kerb weight 2001 kg 322lbft 1850 rpm194 bop at 3800 rpm want to tow a swift conqueror 570 at 1654kg mtplm have checked weight ratio at 83% but don't know how it will perform does anyone know tried tow car.info but want some reassurance especially if anyone else has one

Does the autobox need any additional cooling towing that weight?

I don't see why it should needed cooling
I can drive in excess 3500
Matched on weight 83% and performance figures say its fine just want to know if anyone else has car and van

I have a manual Santa Fe, 2010, and tow 1500kg caravan absolutely no problem. I was recently looking at a van at 1670kg and wouldn't hesitate about its ability to tow.
