Andy - that sounds like the problem - however I've no idea if it is a hydraulic clutch!! Would that explain why it was driveable to the garage prior to the adjustment. Do you think it will be ok to tow now? it seems fine driving around. They did say that if we have any more problems to take the car back. In the terms of the warranty it has to be checked again at 3000 miles. We have cancelled our trip to France in June - at the mo we have lost confidence in the car. Maybe we will feel more confident when we tow again locally!!
The only time I have driven an automatic is on holiday in NewZealand - and I must admit it was a piece of cake!!
