Any advice on towing mirrors. We have a set with straps maypole set can't seem to get them to stay in place on the car mirror they slip off as the mirror is angled. I don't really want to buy new mirrors, but if I have too anybody got any ideas on what will fit a vauxhall astra estate 2009.

I use milenco aero on my vectra estate. If you can't sort out yours, I'd recommend these.

You get what you pay for, Milenco are the most expensive but also the most user friendly, easy to take on & off & they stay in place.

Another vote here for Milenco as I have tried 3 different types of towing mirrors in the past and finally found the Milenco Grand Aero to be the best. They fit most vehicles too so if you change your towcar then you don't have to change the mirrors so they are a good investment.

Have you tried crossing the straps over so that they fit diagonally ?

We tried crossing them over did not seem to make any difference. They fitted the scenic ok I think the mirror was more square. Tried them on astra today wife can pull them off easy just worried that might just slide down mirror and fall of.

Just returned after towing for the first time with Ford Kuga (VG experience) and opted for Milenco Aero 2 wing mirrors which were very easy to fit.

Not cheap but worth the extra money.

What about rock steady towing
mirrors they look similar to milenco

I have no idea about Rock Steady mirrors, a lot will depend on how large your car wing mirrors are.
Most 4*4 need a larger type of towing mirror with easy top fitting.
