hi guys, been a long time since I was on here! Have a q re: weight, my old viking fibreline is 17 cwt , we have a discovery which has never been an issue towing but getting a renault megane and need to know the weight in english as it were!

can anyone help??

Excellent thanks so much, hubby thought only the discovery would tow it, as it seemed heavy to him, but if my car can tow 1245 that should be OK?

If the 17cwt is the gross laden weight then it will be OK.

Just double check the cars unladen weight and gross train weight to make sure.

Double check the tow bar weight of the Megan's it may only be 50 kgs max.could be wrong.the towbar weight will be about 7% of your MTPLM.it a long time from when I had one.worth checking though before you get it.
