No matter which forum I view the same posters try to impose their ideas on everyone to the point of fanaticism, it is bordering on obsessive compulsive behaviour, even resorting to insulting comments (moron, idiot often used) aimed at people who don't agree with their point of view!

Then why are you still reading this thread if it offends your point of view if you are not fanatical about the thread?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

All this preaching everybody and I mean everybody here breaks the law.
Who hasn't drifted to to 35 in a 30 or done 70/80 on the motorway or sneakily answered the phone when driving.
I drive all day everyday and anybody says they never speed are liars
Yes, most people break some laws in ways that are acceptable to them. Everyone draws the line in different places - I've never parked on a yellow line and am pretty virtuous about doing 30 in a 30 area, but I'll be the first one to admit that my motorway speed may perhaps not always have been totally legal on odd occasions.
However, the bit that bugs me is when people think it's unfair that they should pay the price for choosing to break the law. You know the law, you know the consquences of breaking it, so if you're caught you should hold your hands up, pay the fine, take the points and move on - not behave like a small child trying to wriggle out of the results of their wrongdoing. You made the choice - take it like a grown up, for heaven's sake!
