Hi, i have just been given an ABI Award Nightstar 5 berth 1989 its weight is 1100kg unladen.
I have a Renault Megane Dynamique Scenic 1.9 DCI 2001.
My vehicle handbook says...
Kerb Weight Excluding Driver: 1290kg
Max Permissible Axle Weight: Front 1030kg Back 1000kg
Max Permissible All-Up Weight: 1840kg
Max Permissible Towing Weight Unbraked: 680kg
Max Permissible Towing Weight Braked: Driver Only 1300kg Other Cases 1000kg
Total Train Weight: 2800kg
Permissible Nose Weight: 65kg
Can anyone please give me official advice if this car can tow this caravan. Thank you.
