hiya...we have had a towbar fitted to our car, it is black, we have a non alko hitch on the van....do we need to remove the paint off the towbar , and do we need to grease anything....confused....

You need a bit of grease, just a thin layer on the ball. Mine is painted black and haven't removed any paint and its always been fine.

its the alko ones that are sensitive ,plenty of grease on yours will do
