Its the Yeti I dont care for but my brother in law has the Superb & it is a lot of vehicle for the money.I am looking to change my MGzt but dont know what to get, looking at automatics, we also have a little C1 for shopping & a 3ltre Scimitar which is my toy, its very quick but thirsty.
The silly part of the whole TCOTY thing is they test the cars at 85% Kerb Weight where it is legal. According to Skoda the Octavia weighs around 1330kg so 85% is 1131kg.
Looking at the back of Practical Caravan there are only 4 new caravans that are suitable.
There is no issue with it being a class winner, but overall TCOTY is a bit silly if you ask me.

Granted, but that is not the model that won the test.
The new model on its new chassis is significantly lighter than the previous model. It doubtless helps fuel economy, but will not make it a better tow car.
I was rather chuffed to see this years awards. Me and my better half only decided this weekend to start looking into getting a van and by chance my new company car will be a Skoda Octavia 2.0dti Elegance. Just for once a result!!
