hi, thinking of buying a verso 2.0 D4D, does anyone tow with one ? looks good on paper to pull my alpine 2 but any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Personally, I do not think that there is a 'bad' tow car, just cars with different towing capacities.

All Toyota cars are very good products, and the 2.0 D4D will tow your Alpine 2 no problem.

Have you seen the 2013 Towcar Awards information?
Reference is made to the Verso 2.0 D4D Excel, it has a towing limit of 1,300kg and a towball limit (noseweight) of 55kg, which may be a problem.
Double check it with the car handbook and dealer.
